Path of Exile 2: How to Set Up Auto-Trade – Ange Location and Hostile Takeover Quest Guide
Trading has always been one of Path of Exile 2 Currency the most important pillars of Path of Exile’s economy. Whether you’re flipping currencies, offloading rare loot, or hunting for that perfect piece of gear, trade is what keeps the community-driven market alive. With Path of Exile 2, Grinding Gear Games is making major improvements to how trading works, removing many of the frustrating barriers from the first game.
The biggest new feature? Auto-trade, a system that allows you to sell items even while offline. No more missed whispers, no more waiting around in your hideout, and no more clunky manual listings. Instead, you can set up your own permanent shop that Ange will manage for you.
To unlock this system, you’ll need to meet Ange in Act 4 and complete the Hostile Takeover quest. This guide breaks down her exact location, how to finish the quest, and everything you need to know to set up your Shoreline Hideout for asynchronous trading in Path of Exile 2.
Where to Find Ange in Path of Exile 2
You won’t encounter Ange until you reach Kingsmarch, the central hub town in Act 4. Once you arrive, head toward the Well—a key landmark in the area—and you’ll find her standing close to Rog’s shop.
Speaking to Ange unlocks the Hostile Takeover sidequest, the only way to enable auto-trading.
You only need to complete this quest once per account per League. Afterward, the system is automatically available for all of your characters.
Because of this, most players prioritize meeting Ange and unlocking auto-trade as soon as they begin Act 4.
How to Start the Hostile Takeover Quest
Before Ange will send you on your mission, you’ll need to have the ship charter from the main story. This unlocks your personal ship, which is required to sail across the Act 4 archipelago. It functions similarly to the caravan system in Act 2, letting you travel to new zones by sea.
Once you have the charter:
Speak to Makoru in Kingsmarch.
He will prepare your ship and open the route to buy Path of Exile 2 Currency Whakapanu Island. |
